With a playoff win on the line, Stuarts Draft rose to the challenge on Friday. They breezed past the Madison County Mountaineers to the tune of 56-18. The Cougars' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Stuarts Draft's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Derrick Moore, who threw for 121 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 33 yards. Another player making a difference was Brandon Pritchett, who gained 143 total yards.

Stuarts Draft's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Madison County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
