Coleman is a perfect 5-0 against Northland Pines since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cougars will take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Coleman's defense has only allowed 11.5 points per game this season, so Northland Pines' offense will have their work cut out for them.

Coleman is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 48 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Oconto Falls on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 24-8 to the Panthers. The Cougars' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed six in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Kolton Peters, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northland Pines). They were the clear victors by a 24-0 margin over Clintonville on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Coleman's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Northland Pines, their win bumped their record up to an identical 4-2.

Everything came up roses for Coleman against Northland Pines when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 58-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
