Soccer Game Preview: Philomath vs. Scappoose + How To Watch

The Philomath Warriors will face off against the Scappoose Indians on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Philomath is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over Molalla. The result kept Philomath happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 11th.

Meanwhile, Scappoose had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Vikings a 4-0 shutout. Scappoose's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five matchups.

Scappoose's win bumped their record up to 14-1-1. As for Philomath, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 14-1-1.

Philomath skirted past Scappoose 1-0 when the teams last played back in November of 2017. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
