Softball Recap: Issaquah Finds Playoff Glory Versus Moses Lake

It's playoff time, and Issaquah had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Moses Lake Mavericks with a sharp 12-1 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Shaina Starnicky (2028), who fired off two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Shae Erickson (2027), who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Issaquah always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .630. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory was the seventh in a row for Issaquah, bringing their record up to 23-3. As for Moses Lake, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-7.

As of now, neither Issaquah nor the Mavericks have any future games scheduled.
