Recap: Unaka Rangers vs. Harriman Blue Devils        
        
		
            
 The Unaka Rangers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their ninth straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory  and fell  39-38 to Harriman.
 Unaka lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Katlyn Dugger, who  scored 14 points along with nine  rebounds. Dugger continues to roll, besting  her previous point total in each of the last three games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lauren Lund, who  scored nine points.
 Harriman's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Ansley Moore, who  scored 13 points along with eight  rebounds.  Lexi Rose was another key contributor,  scoring 11 points.
 Unaka bumped their record down to 2-10 with that  defeat, which was their sixth straight  on the road. As for Harriman, their victory  ended a four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 3-8.
 Unaka is on the road again  on Saturday and play against Oakdale at 2:00  p.m.  on December 30, 2023. Harriman will finish  2023 at home by hosting Mount Pisgah Christian Academy at 7:20  p.m.  on Saturday. Mount Pisgah Christian Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 50.3  points per game.
