Softball Recap: Jackson County Panthers vs. Apalachee Wildcats
Jackson County lost a close one when they played last Saturday but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on Tuesday was a bit more commanding. They came up short against the Apalachee Wildcats, falling 9-2. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jackson County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miabella Lee, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryleigh O'Brien, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
Jackson County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Apalachee, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.
Jackson County will challenge Winder-Barrow at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Winder-Barrow will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Jackson County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Apalachee, they will head out to face off against Prince Avenue Christian at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
