Volleyball Game Preview: Muir Mustangs vs. Burbank Bulldogs

Muir hasn't had much luck against Burbank recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Mustangs will head out to take on the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Muir lost 3-0 to Arcadia on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-8, 25-15.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Tuesday. Burbank came up short against Pasadena, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for Burbank in their meetings with Pasadena: they've now lost six in a row.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11, 25-12.

Muir's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Burbank, their loss dropped their record down to 9-19.

Muir might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Burbank in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
