It was a good run, but Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-match winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Carroll Chargers, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cadets have suffered since August 19th.

While Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22, 25-11.

Their offense was headlined by Shelby Petersen and Sydney Blackwell, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Keira Dommer and her 18 assists. Blackwell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Among those leading the charge was Hayden Finefrock, who had eight digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted since September 3rd.
