Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sunnyvale). They never let the Ford Panthers get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Friday. Sunnyvale hasn't had any issues with Ford recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Sunnyvale's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 9-5-2. As for Ford, they dropped their record down to 9-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Sunnyvale will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Horn at 1:00 p.m. on April 5th. As for Ford, they will head out on the road to take on Caddo Mills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Caddo Mills' pitching crew has only allowed 1.6 runs per game this season, so Ford's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
