Baseball Recap: Pryor Takes a Loss

Pryor was the 3-2 winner over Claremore when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 5-2 to the Zebras on Monday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pryor saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Roberts, who went 1-for-4 with one double.

Pryor's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 13-7. As for Claremore, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-3.

While Pryor had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
