Basketball Recap: Parkridge Christian Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Makel Moraes and Josh Clark + How To Watch

The Parkridge Christian Panthers were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 60-55 to the David Posnack Jewish Day Rams. The loss put an end to the Panthers' undefeated start to the season.

Parkridge Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Josh Clark, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 13 boards, and Makel Moraes, who went 8-for-14 to rack up 17 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. The contest was Clark's third in a row with at least 18 points. Cameron Burbridge was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Parkridge Christian fell to 2-1. As for David Posnack Jewish Day, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkridge Christian will head out to square off against Non Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for David Posnack Jewish Day, they will face off against Marathon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
