Softball Recap: Steubenville Comes Up Short

If Steubenville was feeling good fresh off their 14-4 takedown of Edison last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Big Red came up short against the New Philadelphia Quakers on Wednesday, falling 9-1. The game marked the Big Red's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Steubenville's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for New Philadelphia, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-7.

As of now, neither Steubenville nor the Quakers have any future games scheduled.
