Exeter is a perfect 7-0 against Dover since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Blue Hawks will head out on the road to face off against the Green Wave at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Exeter and six for Dover.

Exeter fell victim to Goffstown and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 11-0 to the Grizzlies. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Blue Hawks were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Dover came up short against Pinkerton on Thursday and fell 6-2.

Dover saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaliyah Lafleur, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Exeter's loss dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Dover, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Exeter skirted past Dover 4-3 in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Hawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
