Baseball Recap: Jefferson Davis County Takes a Loss

Jefferson Davis County fell victim to Sacred Heart and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Sacred Heart Crusaders, falling 7-0. The Jaguars haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Jefferson Davis County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sacred Heart, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Jefferson Davis County will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Sacred Heart at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sacred Heart, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 21-15 win against Perry Central on the 25th.
