Football Recap: Grand Prairie Gophers vs. Lamar Vikings        
        
		
             Grand Prairie was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight  defeat. They lost  35-14 to the Lamar Vikings. The Gophers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  28-7.
  Gannon Carey continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lamar, throwing for 176 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 64 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.  Kelton Barney handled things on the ground, rushing for 145 yards.
 Grand Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Lamar, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record  this season.
 As of now, neither Grand Prairie nor Lamar have any future games scheduled.
