Soccer Recap: Lincoln-Way West Takes a Loss

If Lincoln-Way West was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Bloom last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Mother McAuley Mighty Macs on Thursday. Lincoln-Way West were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Mother McAuley apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2019.

Lincoln-Way West has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Mother McAuley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln-Way West will venture away from home to face off against Andrew at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mother McAuley, they will face off against Stagg at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
