Saxony Lutheran won the last time they faced Seckman, and Samuel Petzoldt did his part to make sure it happened again. The Crusaders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Jaguars on Monday thanks in part to Petzoldt, who had 20 digs and four aces. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 12.1 assists per game.

Saxony Lutheran was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-27, 21-25, 25-15, 15-9.

Despite the loss, Seckman still got an impressive performance from Blake Aikin, who had 23 digs. Carson Henning also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.

Saxony Lutheran's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-11. As for Seckman, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.
