After only two runs in their last match, Muir made sure to put some runs up on the board against Arroyo on Monday. The Muir Mustangs blew past the Arroyo Knights 16-4. That 12 run margin sets a new team best for the Mustangs this season.

Gianna (GiGi) Butler made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. What's more, she posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, Muir got a massive performance out of Ariel (Shorty) Flores, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles.
