Softball Recap: William Penn Comes Up Short

William Penn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 16-5 to the First State Military Academy Bulldogs.

William Penn's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for First State Military Academy, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. William Penn will welcome Mount Pleasant at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for First State Military Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hodgson Vo-Tech at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
