Basketball Recap: STEMCivics Comes Up Short

STEMCivics was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 63-35 loss at the hands of Pennsauken Tech. STEMCivics lost against Pennsauken Tech in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 53-52 score last time.

It was another big night for Omari Spencer, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds for Pennsauken Tech. That's the most boards Spencer has posted since back in January of 2024. Chris Graham was another key player, putting up eight points and 12 rebounds.

STEMCivics' loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Pennsauken Tech, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. STEMCivics will head out to face off against Florence Township Memorial at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Pennsauken Tech has already played their next matchup (against Maple Shade), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
