Softball Recap: Fairhope Takes a Loss

Fairhope and Daphne squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Fairhope had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 5-3. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost six in a row.

Fairhope's defeat dropped their record down to 27-12. As for Daphne, their win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 36-6.

Fairhope does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Daphne, they will face off against Mary G. Montgomery at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
