Soccer Recap: Make It Six in a Row for St. John's

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. John). Their defense stepped up to hand the Branchville Yellow Jackets an 11-0 shutout on Tuesday. Luis Ramierez was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The win (which was St. John's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-4. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 43 goals over those six matches. As for Branchville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
