Basketball Recap: Ridgeview Takes a Loss

Ridgeview lost against Caldera back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ridgeview Ravens fell to Caldera 71-65. While losing is never fun, the Ravens can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while Caldera are ranked 16th).

Ridgeview's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Caldera, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgeview will take on Redmond at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Caldera, they will challenge Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
