Baseball Recap: Llano Comes Up Short

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Llano was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They fell 5-1 to the Ingram Moore Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Yellowjackets of the 9-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Llano saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas McClintock, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. George Gallucci also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Llano has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Ingram Moore, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Warriors beat Llano by a score of 13-1 on Friday.
