Basketball Recap: American International Academy Comes Up Short

American International Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 63-30 loss at the hands of the Glenbrook South Titans. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as American International Academy came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 36th in Michigan, while Glenbrook South is ranked 264th in Illinois).

American International Academy now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Glenbrook South, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

American International Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Crockett Tech at 5:00 p.m. on December 26th. Glenbrook South will take on Niles West in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
