Softball Recap: Haverford Fords vs. Garnet Valley Jaguars
Haverford entered their tilt with Garnet Valley on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Jaguars. This was a revenge game for the Fords: when they faced off against the Jaguars back in March, they had to take a 6-5 loss.
Ali Daly made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. In other batting news, Brenna Carfrey was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelly Shindler, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.
