Soccer Preview: Neither Basic nor Rancho Found Much Offense Last Time Out

The Basic Wolves will be playing at home against The Rancho Rams at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Rancho will have to contend with a Basic team hungry for a victory, something the squad hasn't seen since September 27. Basic fell just short of Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Basic couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Rancho's offense. They fell just short of Desert Pines by a score of 1-0.

Rancho now has a losing record at 1-2-1. As for Basic, they now have a losing record at 0-1-1.
