Basketball Recap: Bay Area Christian Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After losing to Second Baptist the last time they met, Bay Area Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bay Area Christian Broncos strolled past the Second Baptist Eagles with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 72-54.

Second Baptist's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grace Wehring, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance gave Wehring a new career-high in rebounds. Another player making a difference was Eloise Tackett, who posted 13 points and three steals.

Bay Area Christian's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6. As for Second Baptist, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Bay Area Christian will venture away from home to face off against Fort Bend Christian Academy on January 17th. As for Second Baptist, they will face off against Lutheran South Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
