Clayton's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Southeast Raleigh as they made off with a 9-0 victory. Clayton might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Southeast Raleigh from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Tavalis Parker led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, South Garner got the win against Rocky Mount on Thursday by a conclusive 9-0.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 6-11-2. As for Clayton, their victory bumped their record up to 14-2-1.

Everything went Clayton's way against South Garner in their previous meeting back in September, as Clayton made off with a 10-1 win. In that matchup, the Comets amassed a halftime lead of 6-1, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
