Basketball Recap: Clear Creek Comes Up Short

Clear Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Front Range Christian Falcons 55-16. The Golddiggers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Elizabeth Rooney was Clear Creek's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Cara North held things down on the boards with four rebounds.

Leading Front Range Christian to victory were Kailey Martin and Lily Cameron. Martin posted 18 points, while Cameron put up 17 points. Front Range Christian is 3-1 when Cameron posts 15 or more points, but 3-9 otherwise.

Clear Creek's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Front Range Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.

Clear Creek has already played their next matchup, a 72-6 defeat against Dayspring Christian Academy on the 13th. As for Front Range Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-10 loss against Heritage Christian on the 15th.
