Volleyball Recap: Seneca Takes a Loss

Seneca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Union City Bears, falling 3-0. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bears from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Seneca ultimately came up short, they really made Union City work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 28-26, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Seneca still got an impressive performance from Samantha Harvey, who had 16 digs and one assist.

Seneca's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Union City, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Seneca has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Wilmington on the 6th. Union City has also already played their next contest (against Erie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
