Baseball Recap: Tri-Cities Christian Comes Up Short

Tri-Cities Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 12-2 to the Cornerstone Christian Academy Lions.

Tri-Cities Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tucker Henry, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Joshua Johnson also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Tri-Cities Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 2-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-Cities Christian will welcome Unaka at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Twin Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
