Game recap: Stillwater High School Football Team defeats Catholic Central

TROY, N.Y. - Stillwater (N.Y.) had its advantage, which at one point stood at 14 points, drop to eight before the final whistle blew on a 14-6 victory over Catholic Central (Troy, N.Y.).

After taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter, the Warriors were up 14-0 at the half.

Stillwater saw its 14-point halftime lead fall to eight entering the fourth.

Catholic Central's only touchdown came on a 3-yard run in the third quarter.

In a non-conference game next week Catholic Central (0-2) takes on Corinth, and Stillwater (2-0) will go up against Chatham also in a non-conference game.
