Volleyball Recap: Mukwonago Comes Up Short

Mukwonago was the 2-1 winner over Muskego when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell 3-1 to the Warriors on Tuesday.

Mukwonago started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-17, 25-11, 25-18.

Lucy Sarna paced Mukwonago's offense, picking up 11 kills. Sarna got some help from Amanda Esmeier and her 13 assists. Bella Boyd controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Mukwonago dropped their record down to 8-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Muskego, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-12.

Mukwonago didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Pewaukee on the 26th. As for Muskego, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Waukesha West on the 30th.
