Mariposa County came tearing into Monday's matchup with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Gustine Reds. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Mariposa County was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-13, 25-11.

Mariposa County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was ABBY BEERY out in front who had five digs and four aces. BEERY has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last six times she's played. TAYLOR KRULL also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Mariposa County was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 23 consecutive matches.

Mariposa County's victory bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Gustine, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
