Baseball Recap: Central Crossing Comets vs. Grove City Greyhounds
Central Crossing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Grove City Greyhounds. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-4 loss two weeks ago.
Central Crossing saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Taylor, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
Central Crossing's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Grove City, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record this season.
