Football Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Vinemont + How To Watch

Vinemont proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 36) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Gordo Green Wave 22-19. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since August 23, 2024.

Josh Rhodes threw for 61 yards on two of six attempts. Chase Blair was his top target, picking up 42 receiving yards.

When it comes to explaining why Gordo lost, don't look at Ryder Robertson. Despite the final result, he rushed for 172 yards and two touchdowns.

The win was the sixth in a row for Vinemont, bringing their record up to 6-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.5 points over those games. As for Gordo, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.
