Football Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia extended their losing streak to six on Friday, dropping them down to 1-6. They were outmatched by the Bear Grass Charter Bears and fell 60-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 38-0 back in September.

As for Bear Grass Charter, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 32 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Vance Keel, who rushed for 86 yards and three TDs on only nine carries, and also picked up 45 receiving yards and one score. Another back making a difference was Eric Carmen, who rushed for 63 yards and one touchdown.

Columbia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bear Grass Charter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hobgood Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
