Softball Recap: Dothan Wolves vs. Slocomb Red Tops
After a string of three wins, Dothan's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Slocomb Red Tops. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, Dothan couldn't push the score so high this time.
Makenna Descalzi and Kinley German did some serious damage despite the final result: Descalzi scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while German went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jadyn Hutchins, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
