Morehead got themselves on the board against T.W. Andrews on Tuesday, but T.W. Andrews never followed suit. They blew past the Red Raiders 16-0. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Red Raiders: they've now won nine in a row.

Lily Clark made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Clark was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aubrey Easley, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Abigail Garrett was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.

Morehead was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .667. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Morehead's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for T.W. Andrews, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Morehead Panthers face off against Rockingham County Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Rockingham County will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Morehead surely won't give up without a fight. As for T.W. Andrews, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Walkertown at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
