Basketball Recap: Starr's Mill Comes Up Short

Starr's Mill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 57-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Duluth Wildcats. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Starr's Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Duluth, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Starr's Mill Panthers take on the Central Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.3 points per game this season. As for Duluth, they will face off against Discovery at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
