While Meigs County's victory against Sale Creek wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 16-15 win over the Panthers on Wednesday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meigs County pushed their record up to 9-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Sale Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10-1 record this season.

Meigs County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sale Creek, they will challenge Signal Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
