Volleyball Recap: Elk Lake Comes Up Short

Elk Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Blue Ridge Raiders, falling 3-0. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-19, 25-8.

Elk Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Blue Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Elk Lake is set to square off against their familiar foe North Pocono at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Blue Ridge will challenge rival Forest City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
