Volleyball Recap: Gunn Falls Despite Big Games from Kirsten Rios and Zara Mayor + How To Watch

Gunn lost against Santa Clara back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Titans fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 3-2.

Gunn started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 16-25, 25-20, 26-24, 15-9.

Gunn's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Zara Mayor, who had 20 digs, and Kirsten Rios, who had ten digs.

Gunn's defeat dropped their record down to 17-14. As for Santa Clara, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.
