Baseball Recap: Bloomfield Starts off Right with Win over Naples

Bloomfield took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They never let the Naples Big Green Machines get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Kyle Dredger was a standout: he scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Levi Gumaer, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Naples' loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Bloomfield will head out on the road to take on East at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Naples, they will square off against Honeoye at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
