Football Game Preview: Moorestown Quakers vs. Cinnaminson Pirates

The Moorestown Quakers will head out to face off against the Cinnaminson Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Moorestown has given up an average of 29 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Things were looking good for Moorestown after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took a 33-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of Robbinsville. The matchup was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Quakers couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Cinnaminson's offense. They had to suffer through a 42-0 loss at the hands of Glassboro. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 171st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 30th).

Cinnaminson now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Moorestown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Moorestown came up short against Cinnaminson in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 17-7. Can the Quakers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
