Basketball Game Preview: Poteet Aggies vs. Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls)

Poteet is 0-4 against Uvalde since December of 2014 but things could change on Tuesday. The Poteet Aggies will take on the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) at 7:30 p.m. Uvalde took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Poteet, who comes in off a win.

Poteet saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took down Kenedy 57-41.

Meanwhile, Uvalde unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. The game between them and Pearsall didn't end well, with Uvalde falling 60-43. While losing is never fun, the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1016th, while the Mavericks are ranked 293rd).

Uvalde's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Poteet, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
