Baseball Recap: College Prep Wins Going Away Against Redwood Christian

College Prep lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Redwood Christian, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's matchup. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 13-6 margin over the Eagles on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Eagles two weeks ago, they had to take a 4-2 defeat.

Jonah Holloway-Butts tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 6.2 innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because College Prep is 4-2 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-8 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Eleck Fa was incredible, going 3-for-5 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. John Fa also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

College Prep's record now sits at 6-10. As for Redwood Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12-1.

College Prep will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
