Fairview had won eight straight games and Jordan Rechel did his part to make it nine on Friday. The Fairview Knights narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Fossil Ridge SaberCats 29-26 thanks in part to Rechel, who rushed for 126 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 54 receiving yards.
