Atlanta Jewish Academy lost against St. Mary's Academy in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 48-44 score last time.
When it comes to explaining why Atlanta Jewish Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Zac Agichtein. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points along with 4 blocks. Agichtein scored a full 45.8% of Atlanta Jewish Academy's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Ari Shapiro, who scored 5 points.
Atlanta Jewish Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for St. Mary's Academy, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
